Dataverse @ DIPC

At the DIPC we host a Dataverse instance at dataverse.dipc.org. This platform is intended to be used by the entire Basque Country research community to publish, share, cite, explore and preserve datasets under open-data / FAIR principles.

This server was installed in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country.


What is Dataverse

Dataverse is an open-source repository platform that lets institutions or projects run their own data repository with features like versioning, detailed metadata, and access controls.

Getting Started

  1. Visit https://dataverse.dipc.org
  2. Log in using your DIPC LDAP account
  3. Prepare your dataset (files, metadata, license)
  4. Upload via web interface or API
  5. Set access permissions & publish
  6. Receive a DOI or persistent identifier and make your data discoverable
