Dataverse @ DIPC¶
At the DIPC we host a Dataverse instance at dataverse.dipc.org. This platform is intended to be used by the entire Basque Country research community to publish, share, cite, explore and preserve datasets under open-data / FAIR principles.
This server was installed in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country.
What is Dataverse¶
Dataverse is an open-source repository platform that lets institutions or projects run their own data repository with features like versioning, detailed metadata, and access controls.

Getting Started¶
- Visit https://dataverse.dipc.org
- Log in using your DIPC LDAP account
- Prepare your dataset (files, metadata, license)
- Upload via web interface or API
- Set access permissions & publish
- Receive a DOI or persistent identifier and make your data discoverable
