Software requests¶
If you need software that is not currently installed on our clusters, send us an email at support-hpc@dipc.org. At minimum, include the software name, version, and a download link.
The more context you provide, the faster we can help. The following details are not mandatory, but they make a difference:
- License type (open source, academic, commercial). For commercial or academic software, let us know if you already hold a license or if one needs to be acquired.
- Installation docs or build instructions, especially if the software has non-trivial dependencies.
- Compiler or library preferences (e.g., GCC vs Intel, MPI flavor, CUDA version).
- A brief description of what the software does and how it fits your research, so we can prioritize accordingly.
- Sample input and expected output, so we can verify the installation works correctly on our systems.
Tip
Check Environment Modules first to see what is already available. You might also find what you need through conda environments or containers.
